Detailed Lesson Plan in Kindergarten

I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson,75% of the pupils should be able to:
a. Identify and name animals that live on land and water.
b. Give example of animals that live on land and water ;and
c. Show kindness to animals.
II. Subject Matter: Habitat of animals.

Materials: Relia animals (guinea pig, fish), Pictures, Activity sheets.
III. Procedure

“Old MacDonald” then the
teacher will play the video
and the pupils will sing along
with it.

And on that farm he had a Cow. E-I-E-I-O
What does a (Cow, Horse, Pig, Sheep,
Duck, Rooster) say?
Meow ? Oink? Moo?
With a moo moo here.
And a moo moo there.
Here a moo. There a moo
Everywhere a moo moo.
Old Mc Donald had a farm. E-I-E-I-O
Teacher asks the following questions:
What are the animals mentioned
in the song? And their sound?
(Call a pupil) Cow, horse, pig, sheep, duck, rooster.

D. Application
Independent Work
Teacher will instruct the pupils
to choose an animal and draw
a picture of its habitat. They
may choose from one of the
animals discussed in this
lesson and color it.
Using ¼ size bond paper,
pencil and crayons.
E. Generalization
Class why do we need to take
care the animals like dogs
and other animals?
(Call a pupil) We need to take care of them because they need love.
Do animals need shelter? Yes teacher
Why do animals need shelter?
(Call a pupil) for them to keep warm in winter.

Direction: draw a line and match the animals with their home.
V. Assignment
Draw one animal that live on water and one animal that live on land and color it.
